PENN STATE DANCE MARATHON (THON)

The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, or THON, is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world and it is committed to enhancing the lives of children and families impacted by childhood cancer. Its mission is to provide emotional and financial support, spread awareness and ensure funding for critical research - all in pursuit of a cure.

Each year, the Chapter sets a fundraising goal which is supported through THON donation cans located at Black Eyed Suzie’s year-round; in addition to cans at other events/football watch parties. The largest contributions to THON come from the Annual Winter Bar Crawl, which features stops at four bars in downtown Bel Air, MD featuring drink specials and opportunities to win prizes.
